My name is Stephen Waddy and I operate Rutland Flying School to provide clients with a dedicated and personalised flying training solution.
Welcome
Operating from a private airfield near Oakham in the heart of Rutland, I offer flying training towards the issue of your private pilots licence and specialise in providing intensive courses that combine flying with ground school on a one to one basis.
The school is registered and regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority and is authorised to conduct flying training, ground school and examinations for the issue of your private pilots licence and associated ratings.
Other services include training for the IMC rating and night qualifications. I fly with clients to Devon and Cornwall on a regular basis with the aim of brushing up on navigation skills. I have close links with the Cornwall Flying Club in Bodmin and can offer residential courses in both Rutland and Cornwall.
